learn correct embouchure and breathing methods today frm Fabian of SP band.. firstly when playing clarinet, lower jaw has to be flat lyk the wall.. upper lip t stick to upper teeth lyk super glue.. breathe in horizontally n not suck the air up.. inhale wif 'ho' sound and not 'SSSSIII' (sound of sucking air).. focus airstream into space between reed and mouthpiece.. pretend dat clarinet is 1km long so as to ensure air goes thru clarinet.. only the tip of tongue shud touch the reed for tonguing.. when breathing no raise of shoulder, chest forward or upward or wadeva movement.. no movement of jaw DURING tonguing.. play loud and soft note as if spitting saliva but NO SALIVA SHUD COME OUT.. soft is controlled spitting(reduce air speed but still maintain all abv methods).. cresendo/diminuendo is chaning os airspeed w/o change in embouchure..

dis is pretty much a recap of his lesson XD not in any order.. juz put down wadeva came to mind 1st ~.~ all happened during sectionals.. WOW i summarised 3hrs of work woo recapped..
